An easy berry sauce with just two ingredients! You can use this berry sauce for just about anything — pour over homemade ice cream, waffles, oats, fruit salad or your favorite brownie or dessert. What a great way to load up on healing antioxidants. This recipe is easy, delicious and versatile!
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1/4 cup water
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer.
- Cook until becomes tender and begin to press berries down with the back of a fork.
- Continue until the berries are soft and to your liking. Usually about 5-10 minutes.
- If you prefer your sauce pureed, remove from heat and puree with a hand blender or regular countertop blender.
